THE PERSONAL DATA WE RECEIVE AUTOMATICALLY

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information that’s downloaded to your computer or device when you visit our Site. This is not executable code and does not transmit viruses.

We use two broad categories of cookies:

  • First party cookies, served directly by us to your computer.
  • Third party cookies, served by a third party on our behalf.  We use third party cookies to help us analyze our websites and their use.

Cookies may be distinguished into these major groups: "technical", “analytics”, “functional” and "profiling" cookies.

  1. Technical cookies are those used exclusively with a view to carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communications network. This is strictly necessary to provide the user with the service requested. They are not used for further purposes and are usually installed directly by the website manager.
They can be grouped into browsing or session cookies, which allow users to navigate and use a website
  2. Analytics cookies can be equated to technical cookies insofar as they are used directly by the website manager to collect aggregate information on the number of visitors and the pattern of visits to the website
  3. Functional cookies allow users to navigate as a function of certain pre-determined criteria such as language or services required by the users to improve the quality of service.
  4. Profiling cookies are aimed at creating user profiles. They are used to send ads messages in line with the preferences shown by the user during navigation. Users' prior consent is necessary to install these cookies.

On our Site, we use a number of different cookies, including functional, performance, advertising, and social media or content cookies. For example, we use cookies to make your browsing experience easier and more intuitive: cookies are small strings of text used to store some information that may concern the user, his or her preferences or the device they are using to access the internet (such as a computer, tablet, or mobile phone). Cookies are mainly used to adapt the operation of the site to your expectations, offering a more personalized browsing experience and memorizing the choices you made previously. This means you don’t have to re-enter this information each time you return to the site or browse from one page to another. Cookies do not record or store any Personal Data. If you want, you can prevent the use of cookies, but then you may not be able to use our Site as we intend. To proceed without changing the options related to cookies, simply continue to use our Site.

Third Party cookies

Third-party cookies: We may also utilize third-party cookies, which are cookies sent by a third-party to your computer. Persistent cookies are often third-party cookies. The majority of third-party cookies consist of tracking cookies used to identify online behavior, understand interests and then customize advertising for users.

Third-party analytical cookies may also be installed. They are sent from the domains of the aforementioned third parties external to the site. Third-party analytical cookies are used to detect information on user behavior on our Site. This place anonymously, in order to monitor the performance and improve the usability of the site. Third-party profiling cookies are used to create profiles relating to users, in order to propose advertising in line with the choices expressed by the users themselves.

How to control or delete cookies

Technical cookies: You can manage or request the general deactivation or cancelation of cookies through your browser. If you do this though, please be advised this action might slow down or prevent access to some parts of the site.

Cookies may also be retransmitted by an analytics or statistics provider to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the Site. These are also considered technical cookies when they operate as described.

The length of time that a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and are deleted automatically at the end of the browsing session - these are mostly used to identify you and ensure that you don't have to log in each time. Whereas persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and will expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device.

You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our website may no longer be fully accessible.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept cookies through your browser controls, often found in your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu.

Support in configuring your browser:

You can manage cookies through the settings of your browser on your device. However, deleting cookies from your browser may remove the preferences you have set for this Site.

Additionally, please note that blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners. To exercise your rights or opt-out of certain uses of your information by these parties, please follow the instructions in the “Behavioural Advertising” section above.

Like all websites and mobile applications, this Site also makes use of log files that store automatic information collected during user visits. The different types of log data could be as follows:

The aforementioned information is processed in an automated form and collected in an exclusively aggregated manner in order to verify the correct functioning of the site, and for security reasons. This information will be processed according to the legitimate interests of the Site.

For security purposes (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection), the automatically recorded data may also possibly include Personal Data such as IP address, which could be used, in accordance with applicable laws, in order to block attempts at damage to the Site or damage to other users, or in the case of harmful activities or crime. Such data are never used for the identification or profiling of the user, but only for the protection of the Site and our users.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depend on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Site like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Site

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site.

Do Not Track

Some Web browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites that you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Each browser communicates "Do Not Track" signals to websites differently, making it unworkable to honor each and every request correctly. Please note that because there is no consistent industry understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not alter our data collection and usage practices when we detect such a signal from your browser, at this time. As the technology and communication between browser and website improve, we will reevaluate the ability to honor "Do Not Track" signals and may make changes to our policy.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' Personal Information, we will notify you through a notice on the Site home page. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Site and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
