The Real Reason She Is Slowing Down

You have probably noticed the signs.

The pause at the bottom of the stairs.

The couch she used to own, now something she stands beside.

The heavier landing when she jumps down.

The walk where you set the pace for the first time.

Getting up from a nap like it takes planning.

Age plays a part. So do the years of stairs and squirrels. But one more thing is happening inside that joint.

But what you’re watching usually isn’t age.

And her good days don’t have to be behind her.

The Load Never Stops. And The Upkeep Crew Won't Stand Down.

The Load Never Stops. And The Upkeep Crew Won't Stand Down.

Cartilage is the cushion at the end of every bone she has. No blood supply means it cannot look after itself. Everything depends on the body's upkeep.

  • Every stair and every leap wears that cushion down.

  • Her body sends an upkeep crew to clear the worn tissue.

  • In an older joint the crew stops standing down. It keeps clearing cartilage that was still good.

  • Less cushion means more wear. More wear keeps the crew on.

Together they compound.

None of that is age. It is a loop, and loops can be interrupted.

So We Built The Thing That Interrupts It

So We Built The Thing That Interrupts It

Hey, I am Christine. Cofounder of Jope.

Pepsi, my dog stopped meeting me at the door. I gave him everything I had been taught to give. Months went by. Nothing changed.

So I read the research. 85 studies pointed to one answer. UC-II®, a patented collagen that works on the half of the loop where the crew will not stand down.

A few weeks later he met me at the door again.

I called Jérémy from vet school and we built the supplement we should have been recommending all along.

Supports healthy fat balance in cell membranes.

Why The Chew In Your Cupboard Is Not Touching This

Check the bag you are giving her now. The active ingredient is almost certainly glucosamine, with chondroitin and MSM beside it.

Those supply raw material. Bricks

Picture a house on fire. Glucosamine pulls up and delivers bricks. Right bricks, on time. The fire keeps going.

Glucosamine works on supply. Your dog has a loop problem.

In 2023 it was finally tested properly. It performed the same as a sugar pill.

Which is why months went by and nothing changed.

What we left out:

Glucosamine.

Chondroitin.

MSM.

They do not do the job. We refused to put our names on them.

If This Were Age, None Of The Following Would Be Possible

Age only runs one direction. These dogs went the other way, and most were older turning around than they were when they started slowing down.

This Could Be Your Dog

Beating you to the door again, before you have your key out.

Taking the stairs without stopping to think about it first.

On the couch at night because she got there herself.

Getting up from a nap without the long pause.

No more lifting her into the car.

No more wondering whether this is just how it is now.

She will not know anything has changed. She will just start doing things again.

What The First Three Months Usually Look Like

The early weeks

Usually nothing you can point to yet. Curcumin works early. That is normal.

Around the 1st month

The first visible change, almost always the morning get up.

Between the 2nd and 3rd month

The moments come back in the reverse order. Couch, then stairs, then the door.

What The First Three Months Usually Look Like

The early weeks

Usually nothing you can point to. Curcumin is working early. Some dog parents notice slightly less hesitation before she gets up in the morning. Most notice nothing at all, and that is normal.

Around the 1st month

The first thing you can actually see, and it is almost always the morning. She gets up and the pause is shorter.

Between the 2nd and 3rd month

The bigger moments start landing. Jumping, stairs, the couch.

No two dogs pick the same order, so watch for hers.

Most dog parents see meaningful change between 3 weeks and 3 months.

Pleased with the results

I've tried so many joint supplements for my active dog. At 9 years old she's starting to limp a little after playing - she doesn't know when to quit! I was pleased with the results - after about 3 weeks I noticed a huge difference. She seems more comfortable and less ouchy. Even jumping off the bed seems better!

We adopt older pups, always!

Meggie is 12 now. She has difficulty with walking we have only been using Jope for a month. She seems more comfortable and more likely to do zoomies again.
I can’t wait to see what will happen at month 2

JOPE WORKS!

Recently started my 13 year old Akita on Jope and you can see the results right away. I see a lot of people saying their dog doesn't like the flavor which is the same for mine but I crumble it up into her food and it blends in fine. You won't regret getting this for your dog if they are hurting, mine are family and there isn't anything I wouldn't do to help them and this is one product I'm grateful to have found.

My golden retriever loves it and ive seen him much more active. My Australian shepherd wont touch it though. It’s expensive but less expensive than surgery.

JOPE DRAMATICALLY IMPROVED Syd's Gait

I have had Sydney since she was only a few weeks old. Syd just turned 13. On June 2nd of this year, Syd literally stopped walking while we visited a forest preserve in Oak Brook, IL. Fortunately the preserve has a restaurant and a support staff willing to help me pick up Syd (a 70 lb dog), load her onto a motorized cart and take her to my car. I took her to my vet who after examining her noted that her left back leg had possibly a torn tendon suggesting that prior to a surgery, I try a rehab veterinary center. I did that and Syd got enough mobility to do her daily constitutional but little else. I then heard about JOPE, ordered it and started to include it in her food. Now she is back taking a walk with my other pup SAGE and again enjoying a chance to meet other canines at her favorite place, THE DOG PARK.
